By now you should have selected a focus inquiry question to explore. You will find a list of websites under the 'Resources' tab of the navigation bar that will assist you to find relevant information to help you answer your question whilst completing the tasks. You should also have some of your own notes that were taken in class. Read through your notes and ensure you have viewed the given web links, photographs and videos related to your chosen inquiry question.

The information you should be looking for could include:
- The daily lives of people in a colony from the gold rush era (housing, work, leisure, education, women, children, diggers)
- Significant events and roles of particular people
- Points of view/perspectives of the people in the gold rush era
- Cause and effects of changes in the gold rush era (licensing fees, police intimidation, discovery of gold)
- Reasons for immigration to Australia in this era
